About Eric

Eric Engineer joined S3 Ventures in 2018 and is currently a Partner. He serves on the boards of S3 Ventures portfolio companies: Arpio, Control Rooms, QbDVision, RepVue, Rest, Sumatra, Videate, and VUV Analytics. He previously served on the boards of Atmosphere and Briggo, prior to its acquisition by Coca-Cola. He also works closely with Allstacks, Liquibase, and Interplay Learning.

Eric was previously CEO at Invodo — an S3 Ventures portfolio company — which was acquired by CoCreativ (Industrial Color Studios) in early 2018. Prior to Invodo, Eric was a Partner at Sevin Rosen Funds in Dallas, where he helped lead the firm’s investment in Invodo. Eric also worked at Microsoft, where he held a variety of roles in product management, product planning, and enterprise sales across several business units. Eric began his career as a Sales Engineer at Trilogy Software in Austin, TX. Eric has an MBA from Harvard Business School — as well as an MCS in Distributed Systems and a BA, cum laude, in Computer Science — both from Rice University in Houston, where he was raised.
